Summer Glau
Glau's first TV credit was as a guest star on the 2002 episode of Angel. She was the target of director Joss Whedon, who then cast her in his critically-acclaimed, but short-lived TV show Firefly as River Tam, a role she reprised in the show's feature film sequel Serenity. Glau was previously auditioned for the Power Ranger role (White Wild Force Ranger, Alyssa Erile) in Power Rangers Wild Force. However, she lost to Jessica Rey before meeting Whedon. She played Shelly she was the high school senior in the episode Sleepover. She also appeared in the "What's Gilbert Grissom Eating?" episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. " the second season of The Unit as Crystal Burns (the girl from Jeremy Erhart). In 2006, Glau played Tess Doerner as a paranoid schizophrenia returnee in season two's premiere episode of The 4400, and became an ongoing character in season three and beyond. She also played a role in the horror comedy film Mammoth. Glau was cast in the ABC Family TV movie The Initiation of Sarah.In Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, a TV series which debuted on January 13, 2008. Glau was the character Cameron Phillips, a Terminator infiltration unit who is sent back to defend John Connor and Sarah Connor from Skynet. The 7th episode of the show, "The Demon Hand" included several scenes where Glau in character as Cameron was seen dancing ballet. In the second season's episodes "Allison From Palmdale" (season 2), Glau played Allison Young her human doppelganger. Glau also guest starred in the episode The Big Bang Theory, the CBS situation comedy.
